Student Writer Awarded Scholarship to Script-Com!

Thanks to a generous contribution by a member of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association, a local film student will be attending the Script-Com Screenwriters Conference on November 16 and 17 in Nashville at no cost to the student.

Ava Perkins was chosen as the scholarship recipient based on a peer review by her fellow students in the screenwriting class at Columbia State. The class did a table read of each short script, the class voted on the top scripts, and Ava was selected for the scholarship with her suspense drama, I Love You, Too.
